What to write about

• Corrections. A study unit disagrees with the current rules, the current band plan, or basic arithmetic. Put the unit title in the subject line and quote the sentence you think is wrong. If you can cite 47 CFR Part 97 or an FCC bulletin, even better.
• A confusing explanation. You know the right answer but the explanation did not get you there. That is a drafting fault on our side and it is worth reporting.
• Broken pages. A link that leads nowhere, a diagram that will not load, a language switch that lands on the wrong page.
• Accessibility. Text that is hard to read with a screen reader, contrast problems, or keyboard navigation that traps you.
• Reuse. You want to use a diagram or a question in a club class, a newsletter or a teaching pack.

What to expect

BandPass Academy is written and maintained by volunteers, so replies take a few days rather than a few hours. We read everything, including the messages we cannot act on.

What we cannot do

• We cannot tell you whether your particular station installation complies with the RF exposure rules. That depends on your antenna, your power, your distance and your environment; the FCC's OET Bulletin 65 and the current Part 97 text are the authority, not us.
• We cannot issue, renew or renew-on-your-behalf a licence, and we cannot act for you in front of the FCC. Licence transactions are handled by the FCC's Universal Licensing System.
• We cannot supply examination questions, official pools or exam results. Those come from the volunteer examiner coordinator you test with.
• We cannot give legal advice about antenna covenants, land use or interference disputes.
